I frequent pre-owned game shops. The PS4 and Xbox One section, combined, is smaller than the Master System section. I don't think there are any winners this console generation. Also please take this to the General Video Game Discussion from now on, thank you.
Chamber of Secrets definitely didn't need to be the longest movie. If the Columbus films have anything going for them, it's John William's tracks (third one too). After that they became pretty fucking boring to listen to.
I have Mario Maker preordered and paid off. Needless to say I am hype as shit for it. Woolly World and Star Fox, uhh, eehh. Maybe. Xenoblade,X definitely. The rest I don't really care about. That Zelda multiplayer game for the 3DS doesn't look amazing but I might get that too, just to have it to play so by the time I do want to play it I don't have to pay $100+ for it like Ocarina 3DS (thank god I held onto that).
My wife is a huge Harry Potter fan (she has the Deathly Hallows tattooed on her ankle) and, well, uh, I am too. Like many of you, I grew up reading the books...and re-reading, and all of that. I was, admittedly, not super-into the films growing up because, surprise, I was a snob who thought they couldn't do the books justice. With an older outlook on things, I can see just how wrong I really was. All things considered, they really are the best movie adaptations you could hope for (with the exception of Order of the Phoenix. Seriously what happened). I bring this up because I own the complete Blu-ray set (not the nice one with all of the extras, perhaps someday) and we've decided to give it another marathon. I marathoned this same set two or three years ago (I don't remember if I posted it back then) but now that I'm even older I appreciate it even more and, yeah, I'm sucked back in. We're finishing Deathly Hallows Part 2 tonight, and probably gonna get on the Amazon Kindle Unlimited train to read through the novels together again since childhood on our Kindles. It is pretty fucking swell. I do wish we could get a series in the universe from an adult's perspective, just on the wizarding world in general (and no I haven't read the spin off books yet), because I think it's the most fascinating part of the series other than the character driven-ness. Pls discuss theories and plot points/plot holes with me, I am in a Potter mood
I'm watching The Chew here while waiting for my wife. It doesn't measure up to the website at all! Actually it fucking sucks good god. The featured hashtag is #YouOnTheChew. Tab, it's time to call the lawyers.
