I don't know why people think this is funny or useful, but it's usually only done once so it's not bad enough to ruin the video. You can do this in 10 seconds with vegas, though. I don't see what's wrong with ear rape, though; fuck, as long as it isn't too loud, and as long as it's placed appropriately in the video, I might laugh my ass off. I don't agree with Stu on a lot of things, but he is right that overuse of any poopism is a bad thing- perhaps overuse of this is what makes people hate it so much? I dunno. Guys, it doesn't help it along, it's doing the complete opposite of what sentence mixing is supposed to do, which is to fool people into believing that's what they said. And honestly, if you do it just because you think you did a poor job at sentence mixing, just drop it completely, that's what I would do. If I can't get the words to sound clear enough or the cadence just sounds awkward, I would just give up on it. On topic of collabs, I don't get people that take the finished entries of a collab and split the entries up, mixing up different entries together instead of just playing them one by one. Psychogenesis Posted April 17, 2014 I'm personally put off pretty strongly by ear rape and by a large chunk of stutters and time stretches. I like YTPs to be primarily jokes, like with cs188 and durhamrockerZ. Of course, all 3 of those poopisms have the potential to be downright hysterical. I'm pretty fond of UncannyValleyVideos style even though that's a lot of stuttering. First off, I'm pretty sure it's safe to say that spadinner and webcam poops are definitely not as plentiful as they were back in 2007-2009. It might even be safe to say they're dead. Webcam poops most definitely died off years ago. I think I've seen one 'spadinner' poop from 2013, though, but I forgot what it was. Second, "no spadinner" is a bit generic. Do you mean "ABSOLUTELY NO SPADINNER RELATED JOKES" or do you mean "I will not accept entries that only use Spadinner jokes"? If the first is true, why? Notice how the whole visuals are just the unedited scenes from CD-I. Terrible set-up 2. Lots of unedited content between "jokes"? 3. F11 Posted April 28, 2014 My least favorite poopisms is have to be none stop ear rape. Poops that use ear rape the whole time can get old and annoying.
