Hullo there, everybody.
Back in March 2013, the Writing Staff asked the community at large what you lot would ideally like to read more of and help us gauge the kind of content you'd like to see written more often. Today, we're reaching out to the community once again. While we're not a newspaper and readership numbers aren't the be all and end all for us, we'd still like to see more engagement and interaction when it comes to our articles. Truth be told, we've hit a slight slump in productivity recently and a lot of us have been a little lost for ideas for topics to write about. How do we deduce what kind of topics YouChew really responds to? That's where all of you come in. We'd like to know your opinion on our output of work over the past year or so, your thoughts on the stuff we write about, suggestions you may have for us regarding future topics and just a general consensus on what the YouChewian readership is like today.
We're not asking for more applicants, though you are always welcome and guest submissions are always encouraged. Instead, we're asking you, any of you, to take the time to post below how the Writing Staff could better your reading experience. Keep in mind we don't plan on pandering to you as each writer on staff has their own passions and interests they want to write about, but we're very much encouraging you to give us an idea of how we can keep you engaged. Tell us anything and all your thoughts on the type of work we've been putting out lately, what you'd like to see more of or just how you reckon we could improve if you see any faults.
Naturally, we'll never be able to write things that cater to everyone and some of you probably never read anything we publish and that's perfectly fine. Regardless, we'd like to know what you have to say.
Thank you very much for your time.
