Captain Planet and the Planeteers was an animated TV series that focused on environmentalism. It was created to teach younger American audiences about topics such as pollution, counterfeit stuff, trees, gangsta life, drugs, and even AIDS and Adolf Hitler. Each episode also featured a Sonic Sez-style segment called Planeteer Alert.
