The description for this category should be changed, as X-Men, Mario, and Sonic characters have existed in different media prior to being in cartoons. It's either that or they go. In addition, the description makes it inconsistent with the "anime", "video game" and "comic book" categories, because some of the people in there have been in other types of media as well. - I will admit that I was inconsistent when it came to my first description. However, the cartoons from video games and comic books will still go here, because unlike anime, which already has a source from Japanese comic books called "manga", comic books and video games still don't have a specific calling for special cartoons, even if comic books and video games went to anime and other stuff like that. - Crazy Luigi
