A Farewell to Kings Arms[edit]

I was eventually planning on putting this down but kept putting it off because lol im lazy. Anyway, the TF2 class articles all list out each of their respective classes weapons, and have done so for a while now.

The problem now is that ever since the Mannconomy Update, in which Gay Ben decided to really start rolling in the gravy train, new weapons are almost constantly being added to the game, and from what I've gathered a lot of the descriptions for each of these, they could easily be picked off from the TF2 Wiki(s) instead. I don't see this mass influx of weapons ending anytime soon either, and it really just seems like pointless article clutter at this point.

My proposal is that we decide on one of these:

  • Summarize for Slots - For example, instead of listing out all the Soldier weapons in which we go into detail about each weapon, we can summarize and say something like:

In his primary slot, the Soldier wields a variety of ROOW-KIT LAWNCHAIRs which inflict heavy damage on his pesky opponents. His secondary slot can be equipped with a variety of shotguns for shooting his foes, boots for traversing the Water Temple rocketjump damage resistance or stepping on his foes, and backpacks for assisting his team. His melee weapons include mostly tools such as shovels and pickaxes that are smeared with blood.

Of course, it doesn't have to be that condensed. A paragraph for each slot could work, I just don't think bulleting each new weapon cuts it anymore.

  • End Turn - Leave it as is, it's fine, Billion, take your medicine, you're being nitpicky again.

All I am really saying is I think something should be done, but I'd rather let the power of democracy settle this before something happens if anything. Billion 04:50, 21 August 2011 (PDT)

Personally, I don't really care with what happens there. I wouldn't mind a condensing on weapons, though. Yet at the same time, I don't mind it as it is. Yoshit, what do you think? - Crazy Luigi 06:28, 21 August 2011 (PDT)
I think it's a good idea.--kingplatypus3rd 10:50, 21 August 2011 (PDT)
