Tiertex

From Chewiki Archive - YouChew: 1% Funny, 99% Hot Gas

Tiertex is a company that was formed by Wes Weasley in 1987 to make games, cartoons and YouTube poops, however they are known for poor quality, short development cycles (rushed) and full of mistakes. They also temporarily owned a Japanese studio called Toei from 1992-1997 and they are frequently mistaken for US Gold for some reason. It is located in a converted house somewhere in Manchester. They also bought Koopone Production Ltd., in June 2001 for 2 bucks and half a melted ice cream.

Reception[edit]

Critical[edit]

"Nazis programmed this piece of shit!" - Fat Mann Judgeth on Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

"Tiertex must die!" - fulgenzio on every game, poop and cartoon that they made

"Sailor Moon was absolutely vomit. The animation is very stiff, off model and sometimes add a silly effect to be flexible. Voice acting is pretty bad, music is sleepy and the names of the episodes made no sense. Plus it was a bad ripoff of Sonic the Hedgehog and Captain Planet. That's why we ditched it on our schedule." - Fox Kids Europe 1997

"When Stegblob was Bored was announced, I couldn't wait to play it but it was the worst game I have ever played. Poor collision detection, poor controls, poor graphics, poor sound, poor everything. Also there was no scene with Robotnik going Penish like they promised - a mockery for a brilliant person." - Offical (insert console here) Magazine.

"At least it has Sonic R music in. Rest is awful." - Matt Newman on Makoto Humps Usagi poop.

"I would rather eat vomited vomit than play this piece of shit."- The Angry Video Game Nerd on Donkey Kong CD-i.

"Tiertex, sound like Uwe Boll of video game companies." - stormloss on their first game.

"This Youtube poop SUCKS DICK!!!!!!" - Deepercutt after finishing his cereal.

"This shucks!" - Robotnik on Super Mama Luigi Bros.

"It stinks!" - Jay Sherman on everything they've made.

"It burns!" - Ganon on Mama Luigi goes Shopping.

"Delete that crap!" - Strong Bad upon receiving a sample of their "Homestar Hair" game.

"I rather eat my shit than play this." The Angry Video Game Nerd on Sonic The Hedgehog on CD-i.

Commercial[edit]

In total, Tiertex products have been played/viewed by a select number of undisclosed people which is most of Europe actually. They would rather have it remain that way.

Trivia[edit]

  • Furnessly may have got AIDS during his first day in the company and left after their third poop.
  • Reactions by IGN, Fat Mann Judgeth, Lemon Amiga, Golden Age Cartoons, Youtube and the YouTube Poop community are all negative.
  • The Electric Cheese sued Tiertex for using his remixes during the Koopa Koopa Football Players game, they were later replaced with Bison shouting YES! WB also sued them for ripping off Spaced-Out Bunny, Bugs Bunny and Captain Planet.
  • Rumoured to have done The Return of Greenback Koopa, part of A Double Feature, There's Been a Murder and the CD-i system, but these aren't confirmed.
  • Koopone declared War on Tiertex after finding out how badly he was ripped-off, and after playing a Tiertex game.
  • Girlaph is rumoured to be one of the uncredited workers but more proof is needed.
  • Only used Overture once but the name was reused in their Turbo OutRun port.
  • Once sued Miles Prower for no reason in 1988. The judge dismissed this case, and fined Tiertex $1295.31 for wasting the court's time. In the end, they would be out $1295.31 and without Miles Prower.
