I understand Toyota's are good cars, and I know the King has one too. But that is a well designed car that looks cool. By putting Toyota Corrallas on the list of the things the King dislikes, it's not that he dislikes Toyota itself, just the Corrolla models, especially the boring, and bland ones from the '80s to the '90s.

Thank you for updating my James article and uploading the image I was expecting HMTcomp

  • I didn't do the image, but I did rewrite the article. -Yoshit

James Bond[edit]

As I recall, I believe that you were originally doing a James Bond Chewiki article. In fact, to further prove my point, you uploaded not one, but two pictures of 007. So what happened? Did you suddenly forget about it or something like that or what? - Crazy Luigi 23:59, 17 March 2010 (CDT)

Maybe he didn't have enough ideas for the page. That happened to me during the development of the Tron Bonne article. NinjaCoachZ 08:16, 18 March 2010 (CDT)
I believe that I can understand the situation. Trust me, I've had a couple articles that I originally did (Quasimodo for example) but they weren't registed on time for some strange reason and I didn't copy-pasta it, so I thought "Fuck this." However, I wanted to hear from Yoshit himself, NinjaCoachZ. - Crazy Luigi 15:25, 18 March 2010 (CDT)
Yes, I did. I might start again, but it WILL need a lot of expansion. -Yoshit

List of Pokémon[edit]

The tags on that page were there for a reason. The Pokémon were now in order, so it is true that the "dirty" tag had done its job, but it was still an incomplete list. We probably had just barely gotten over 50 out of 490+ Pokémon. Please pay more attention before removing such a thing. NinjaCoachZ 08:18, 18 March 2010 (CDT)

Piracy[edit]

I understand that you're against piracy, but you're probably gonna have to try harder to get rid of it next time. Simply scratching out the links isn't going to prevent anybody from copy-pasting them, or looking in the history. It's on the forums as well. So I respect that you're against such a thing, but your efforts were futile. NinjaCoachZ 09:50, 2 April 2010 (CDT)

Chewiki's Glitch[edit]

I am glad to notice that I'm not the only one who noticed disorder become involved (and how you probably saw my picture of that error happening on the Characters page). Still, doesn't it seem strange that a problem such as this happened on a day like this (April 10/11) and not on something as obvious as April 1st (Fool's Day)? Anyways, I'll to help out with this crazy problem that's recently happened. - Crazy Luigi 03:16, 11 April 2010 (CDT)

By the way, it isn't just affecting categories, but sources and poopers as well. Maybe it's a glitch affecting all categories. --NinjaCoachZ 06:49, 11 April 2010 (CDT)
EDIT: Yep, I just checked. It's affecting a lot of other categories, and the problem still exists in the characters (i.e. Hillary Clinton is in the "A"s, Luffy ended up with the "B"s, and King Dedede got into the "M"s). Now, I would do this myself, but it's going to be tedious/use up my spare time since I won't have help, and I can't deal with it now. --NinjaCoachZ 07:43, 11 April 2010 (CDT)
This might be a crazy hunch, but I think PSE1nf0 might've been involved with this situation. - Crazy Luigi 17:07, 11 April 2010 (CDT)
It might have been an anonymous hacker. Most articles were moved only to the letter "A", few being moved to any other letters. --NinjaCoachZ 17:18, 11 April 2010 (CDT)
Well if that's the case, then (s)he sure loves the letter "A", I'll tell you what. Still, I'm going to try and test something out here. - Crazy Luigi 17:22, 11 April 2010 (CDT)
EDIT: Huh, so I guess it was a hacker after all... well shit. - Crazy Luigi 17:24, 11 April 2010 (CDT)

The New Featured Article Thingy Here[edit]

Yoshit, I just wanted to let you know of this new featured category thing, in which you can go on to the talk page of the article you like and say why you think they are acceptable to be featured. You can also vote for other articles that have already been decided on whether they should be a featured article or not. I just wanted you to know of this. - Crazy Luigi 00:26, 25 April 2010 (CDT)

By the way, here are the pages which are pending being featured: Category:Featured Article Nominees. --NinjaCoachZ 18:01, 27 April 2010 (CDT)

Respect your superiors.[edit]

Please do not insult me. It'd be bad enough if I was a regular user, but I am a sysop and insulting me is unacceptable. This is your first time insulting me during my tenure as a sysop so I'll just give you a warning, but if you do it again I might have to block you for a while. --NinjaCoachZ 16:07, 28 April 2010 (CDT)

I feel that my comment was justified, since you did do an action that was disrespectful and un-called for. I just ask that you not do stuff like this. I cannot respect anyone that disrespects me. I just ask for a wee bit of respect, and in exchange, I will give you my full respect. -Yoshit
I did not mean to disrespect you, but I may have insulted your opinions. I did not intend to do this, and I was only doing it in a somewhat tongue-in-cheek way to remove the bias that plagues this wiki. I apologize, but name-calling at a mod cannot be accepted. --NinjaCoachZ 10:26, 29 April 2010 (CDT)
I understand. You have my full respect. -yoshit

TheDailyOi![edit]

Dude, you need to wait until they finish the user article; too bad I am not a pooper but I'm always busy with other articles. So please give me a chance to finish it because I was helping finishing and making other articles, I would be thankful if you understood this message.--TheDailyOI 7:08, 18 December 2013 (CDT)

If you are not a pooper, then you should not have an article on Chewiki. You can utilize your own userpage as you wish, though. Besides, the writing doesn't meet Chewiki standards by a long shot. The formatting is non-existant, the grammar is questionable, the content is irrelevant for the Chewiki, and is also poorly written. Perhaps you should read around other articles and see what our standards are for writing quality. -Yoshit (talk) 02:57, 19 December 2013 (PST)

Rudeness[edit]

Could you please lay off the rudeness to new users? I understand that they were technically not following rules, but you don't need to use such strong words. --NinjaCoachZ 22:22, 14 June 2010 (CDT)

Fine. It is just irritating when n00bs make pages without even trying to figure out the proper formatting. It isn't that hard to look at the source for a page and figure it out. -Yoshit
Maybe for a suggestion, NinjaCoachZ could show new YouTube Poopers where to go to get their articles correct. Maybe on the main page even? - Crazy Luigi 22:26, 14 June 2010 (CDT)
I believe I already have some links to our rules/etiquette on the main page, but people really should check our help section before editing. --NinjaCoachZ 22:27, 14 June 2010 (CDT)

That Sports Thing...[edit]

You know of that NHL thing, where Chicago ended up beating Philadelphia in overtime? Yeah, well I too wanted to see the Flyers of Philly beat the Blackhawks of Chicago in this year's Stanley Cup, so don't think too badly of my tastes in sports. - Crazy Luigi 17:41, 18 June 2010 (CDT)

That was one of my many disappointments in sports for this and last year. The Phillies lost to the Bankees last fall, the Saints won the Super Bowl (I was rooting for the Colts), the Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup (as an ex-St. Louisan of 7 years, that makes it even worse than just beating a team of my native state), Roger Federer got his arse handed to him by a n00b, and the Cardinals blew their massive lead over the rest of their division. I am just glad that this streak of disappointment is over with the loss of a Boston team. -Yoshit 21:56, 18 June 2010 (CDT)
I too was also rooting for Indianapolis to beat New Orleans (although it's because of different reasons (I'm looking at you, Arizona.)), but I personally didn't want to see the L.A. Lakers win, mainly because of Kobe Bryant for the aforementioned reason and their annoying as all fuck fans. Personally, if some other team in the Western Conference was in there (such as the Phoenix Suns, Dallas Mavericks, or (Heaven forbid) San Antonio Spurs) or if the Cleveland Cavaliers or Orlando Magic ended up beating Boston in their conference, then I would've rooten for some other NBA team to win it all myself. Oh well, at least your glad, because I sure as Hell ain't, especially for some recent news involving my favorite team. - Crazy Luigi 22:04, 18 June 2010 (CDT)
Oh, and just fyi, I also do like the Philadelphia Flyers franchise despite the fact that I also do like the New Jersey Devils franchise, so think of that as what you will. - Crazy Luigi 22:15, 18 June 2010 (CDT)

Quotes[edit]

NinjaCoachZ said to me that we don't have to put quotation marks in the characters' quote sections -HMTcomp

Except Yoshit had a reason. He was doing it to distinguish a comment (giving context) from an actual quote. You're putting quotation marks around quotes just because. --NinjaCoachZ 17:03, 22 June 2010 (CDT)

Uh...[edit]

"Edit of Transformers (2007) on 03:29, 23 July 2010"

"Edit of Transformers (2007) on 22:00, 22 July 2010" (→Further Information - Since I'm sure I can't put myself in the Disliked By section, I'll just say that I don't like it, yet my grandma did for some strange reason.)

...Yeah. - Crazy Luigi 00:50, 23 July 2010 (CDT)

Forum Question[edit]

Can you get onto the Forums just fine by yourself? I ask this because I can't seem to get on there no matter how hard I try. Can you even e-mail Dopply or whatever about this to him, because I really want to be a part of this YouChew Christmas giving participation. - Crazy Luigi 13:37, 25 December 2010 (CST)

I have no problems, and I will contact him. -Yoshit 16:44, 25 December 2010 (CST)
You know what, forget about that because Triple sSs and SirSigma fixed that problem for me. Thanks for trying though. - Crazy Luigi 21:50, 25 December 2010 (CST)

Article Deletion[edit]

Why have many of my changes been deleted? I understand that the page I created was redundant and pointless, but I don't understand why my edits such as "The Council Of Anti-Scrubbers" have been removed. Can you explain to me why you did this? - TSamson 17:49, 6 July 2012 (CST)

Because they do not meet our standards of quality, and contain too many bad jokes. You can re-write said edit, but make sure that it is up to 2012 Chewiki quality, and not 2009 quality. Jokes about Morshu's Dinner Palace and dinner and other shit are not up to standards. -Yoshit 06:25, 7 July 2012 (PDT)

Edit

Need help[edit]

I'm having trouble categorizing the page I made. I want to put it in the "Pooper - 12ers" and "Pooper - GENDERLESS" category. I've read the help page but I can't seem to figure it out. - DebaserFletchie

Fixed it for you. Putting "yes" next to |noaddyear= and |noaddsex= in the pooperbox disables categorization. - TheFXexpert 18:07, 31 July 2012 (PDT)
Also, remember to ask a mod like me or TheFXexpert before going to a Chewiki Staff Member like Yoshit. - Crazy Luigi 22:14, 31 July 2012 (PDT)

>Bronyism Melongod (talk) 06:24, 17 May 2013 (PDT)

So? - TheFXexpert (talk) 12:13, 17 May 2013 (PDT)
Maybe he means that those of us on YouChew that like the show don't really call themselves Bronies that much, if at all? Either that, or he's lost me. - Crazy Luigi (talk) 13:03, 17 May 2013 (PDT)

Sir Ethan of dreamcastboy99filmz (talk) 16:51, 4 June 2013 (PDT) I will not promote my channel any longer,I will only add my name to the "Used By" sections.

Unused file deletion[edit]

Hello! Could you please delete the images available here and here? They aren't used on any pages and don't pertain to any currently existent article. Thanks, --ThatPuppeteer (talk) 11:26, 24 January 2016 (PST)

You can't actually delete them, but you can mark them for deletion, and a moderator will delete them. -Yoshit (talk) 03:53, 26 January 2016 (PST)
Thanks for telling me. If I ever see unused images again in the future, I'll make sure to mark them for deletion. --ThatPuppeteer (talk) 11:28, 27 January 2016 (PST)

Getting rid of "User:" in my name[edit]

Hiya! Could you please give me a hand? For some odd reason, "User:" is in my name, and my name isn't all capitals. Would I be able to change it? Thanks! --Knigh7 (talk) 17:45, 5 June 2017 (GMT)

  • "User:" is your user page as an editor on the Chewiki. If you want to make a pooper page, just make the page without "User:" (and name it whichever you wish), and write your pooper article. For example, my pooper article is SirSnivyofNottingham, and Yoshit without the user prefix links to that instead of my user page. -Yoshit (talk) 14:42, 7 June 2017 (UTC)
  • Brilliant. Thanks man! -KNIGH7 (talk) 18:40, 7 June 2017 (GMT)
  • Sorry, I've accidentally uploaded something which I think may be copyrighted. How can I get rid of it? -KNIGH7 (talk) 18:48, 7 June 2017 (GMT)
  • Depends on the content, the owner of aid content, and whether it constitutes fair use. Since we have articles on blacklisted material already, I am not sure that will be too much of an issue. Images, in particular, we have loads of copyrighted images. If you are worried, though, you can add copyright information in the description. Besides that, only admins can delete content. -Yoshit (talk) 05:28, 8 June 2017 (UTC)
  • Ok, thanks - KNIGH7 (talk) 17:25, 12 June 2017 (GMT)
  • Hi. I uploaded a newer version of an image earlier, and for some reason it isn't updating. - KNIGH7 (talk) 16:51, 19 June 2017 (GMT)
  • It sometimes takes a while. Don't worry. -Yoshit (talk) 19:27, 19 June 2017 (UTC)
  • Ok - thanks!. - KNIGH7 (talk) 12:09, 20 June 2017 (GMT)

Removing categories/reverting[edit]

Please do not remove the This category is mine category from the Stingy article. If you do, I will undo your revision. And also, please do not revert it where the category isn't there. GoogleFanatic2017 (talk) 21:08, 16 June 2017 (UTC) Because, it's MINE! And also...

This article is mine!

  • Please read your own talk page for my reasons. -Yoshit (talk) 01:32, 17 June 2017 (UTC)

File deletion[edit]

Hi again Yoshit, do you know which of the currently-active staff members have the ability to delete files? I requested that two files (here and here) be deleted about two years ago and marked them for deletion, but they still haven't been removed. I know TheFXexpert used to delete files when the uploaders requested it, but I don't know if he is still active. Thanks, --ThatPuppeteer (talk) 21:34, 17 September 2018 (UTC)
