“Big Beat Mario” is one of the greatest YTPMVs of all time. It was a prime example of where YTPMV was in December 2009, acting as a precise bridge between the still-dominant classic style and the then-burgeoning pitch-shifting style that would soon take over that side of the medium. It took the best of both worlds and combined them to make something timeless, catchy and memorable, even having a professional multi-section structure. It’s primary maker was SkyGuy16, later and now more known as Triple_sSs, who was besides this otherwise known for his many usages of Arthur, Little Critter, and MST3K in his videos. His other classic works include “U.R. Ruud”, “David’s Crappy Birthday”, the “Hi I’m Ben” videos, and the more recent classic “D.W’s Zoophilic Orgy”. As far as YTPMV goes, Triple still hasn’t lost the beat. His work can be found in the archive below.
